I love the new A8 and am wondering when the S8 (if any) will come out as well as the RS8...Also, will it use a W12 NA engine or a V8 TT??

 

i want the RS4, or even better... RSTT!

 

I read about the RS4 last summer, going to be probably a 380hp 6, I am curious to know what the price will be, give or take 65k.

The LAST RS4 had 380 hp so the new one will have more I'm sure.

I guess it will have a high-rev V8 n/a.

Would it just be an upgraded version from the regular W12 then?

 

There were also some rumours that the Rs4 would share the V8 twin turbo platform from the Rs6, but who knows.

 

I don't think that Audi would come out with an S8 or an RS8 at all. I guess they're more then satisfied with bolting on the W12.

 

Audi has presented its intentions to build the S8 and RS8 about three years ago in a german magazine, called Auto Bild. It was supposed to have a V8 TT engine with 510 HP, but will now probably have more in the face of the Stuttgart HP maniacs and their AMG monstrosities...

 

Sorry to complicate matters but I remember reading a while back of a prototype V10TT being developed. Another possible engine choice if the RS8 gets the green light?

The V10TT will go into the Audi Le Mans (for 120K with a TT gallardo engine its a sweet deal!!)...
Not sure what Audi is gonna call the A8 with the W12 but that model is coming out ofr sure

 

I thought they werent building the Le Mans? thats cool if they are

 

I just read the newest (forgot which one) and Audi ARE building the Le Mans, their sick SUV thing and the Le Mans big brother Novaris (forgot the name...)
