TT RS MK3 2.5T Quattro facelift is a fun car, a super peppy and fun one with affordable price tag. The 3rd generation TT was introduced in 2014 and made its debut on the Geneva International Auto Show in 2016. The inline 5-cylinder engine is not actually a new product on the market. As early as years ago, with inline 5-cylinder engine has the power of the 6-cylinder engine and the fuel consumption of the 4-cylinder engine were favored by car manufacturers, such as GM, Fiat, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Volvo and others. Volvo is the most widely used among the above.
However, in this era of turbocharging, lots 3-cylinder or 4-cylinder engine with turbos are capable with good horsepower and fuel consumption, and therefore the 5-cylinder engine silently faded out of the market, but among them, this 2.5L inline 5-cylinder engine from Audi is still in the market, which has received continuous praise.
In response to the advent of the electric vehicle era, Audi announced in May 2019 with a heavy heart that the current 3rd generation TT will be the last generation, and there will be no more fuel-based successor.
Fi EXHAUST has developed the Fi version exhaust system for the last roar of an era to honor this small but swift speed machine.
