I need wheels.
That's what I had on my RS6 and that's the type of wheel I'm looking for. I'll probably end up getting some replicas because I don't want to drop a lot of cash into that wagon. As it is, I think I'll be near $10k when I'm done...

you'll need some ET25 wheels which up until the new S4's came out were hard to find.

some BBS RX's might look good?

OZ SLIII's?

OZ Ultraleggeras?
for sportec knock offs try Flik - $225 a pop for 19's!

scott, thanks. i like the oz line, but they seem to be out of my price range, same with BBS. i'll have to look into those fliks. i think that may work. as for the sportecs, do you think 20 is too big for that car?
I think the 20's will work on your car although it would definitely be more of a "sporty" look.
What size did you have on the RS6? The bodies are roughly the same size and I think a lot of the A6 guys are running 20's on their car so I think it would work.
If you look good, you can probably find a nice set of used OZ or BBS wheels. I picked up my SL's for $1400 with tires! The guy had them on for 3 months and got a new car. Even new though, he said the setup was $2500. If you don't get the crazy forged wheels from either company, you should be able to get some in your price range. Those fliks look good and they're dirt cheap. I think you can put (or get) audi center caps in them, also.

i had 19s on the RS6. i think 20's would look good, but the ride would be killer. i was looking at the fliks for the 2005 s4 and the et's seem to be 35 and higher. will i need spacers?
For your $3K range, I suggest some BBS CH $, CK. They were storng, for your allroad. Also I found the SSR GT2 is on sale at tirerack for $379 only. Simple design, 19" and only 21.2lbs.

CK Price: $396 (each)

Price: $495 (each) 26.1 lbs. **

How does Flik looks?
Good choice, I have them on my A4 Avant. For that price, It won't hurt me it I damage them. I've custom polish the outer lips this year. For your $1K, chip and DV will be best bang of the buck! or add another $900 to have 6 pots BBK behind the new 19" like mine!
