How many 04-05 S4 owners post here? Post some pics of your car and what you think of it so far after having it for a few years now. I may be moving to colorado next year and I will be looking to get into a manual, awd, 4 door car. Thanks!

 

I just got rid of my 05.5 B7 S4 for my Carrera S. The S4 was one of the best cars I've ever owned.

 

05 S4 for daily driver. can't ask for anything better. well, i guess gas mileage can be better.

 

Trovan - you have the perfect setup. It broke my heart to trade in the S4. It was Dolphin Gray, too.

The S4 is a great car, definately a bit more luxurious than an Evo, STi or an M3, but not quite as raw a sports car as any of those, either.

thanks chris. but i really don't use the S4 appropriately. i drive 15 miles each way in local street going 30 miles/hr in traffice. samething twice a day. i could be driving a vw for that purpose.

 

LOL - You really are reading my mind! I had my S4 for "fun" and a new GTI w/DSG for the commute (2 miles LOL) and traffic across town. The 997S is the only car for now - I'll probably buy a low-key beater until I move back to CA.

 

jasclass, 2004s4, what are your impressions of the car? Like/dislike, anything you would change, etc

I have the B5 chassis for a reason. My good friend has a 04 S4 with all the goodies. I personally like the interior on my 01.5 plus that fact that it makes over 400hp with OEM RSK04 turbos and is lighter. The V8 growl is nice though.

 

Sold my 04 S4 earlier this year and replaced with a 550i. I miss the S4...
