Got My RS4

Picked up my black/black RS4 today. It's a nice whip. Coming from a '06 Z06, it is obviously nowhere near as fast. The extra 700 pounds of weight is evident especially on standing starts, but it is still a lot of fun, sounds great, and is very comfortable. It handles very flat with excellent turn in. Mine has Sport Conti's. I have pictures, but they exceed the 900 x 900 size limit and I do not know how to resize. How do I post pix? Milltek (race cats and down pipes with full cat back) arrive next week. Should kick it up a notch. As a concession, the dealer put me on the list for the 997 GT3 (and the GT3-RS), the RS4 should keep me entertained until my # comes up...

Congrats on the RS4. You cant go wrong with Milltek exhaust, top notch stuff. Had 2 RS6's and both of them had the Milltek exhaust. The last one had the DP's, PITA to install but worth it.
What are you viewing the pics with on ur PC, usually to resize go to edit and resize.

Turn in is very crisp. Very slight initial push, but it is so minimal it is for the most part non-existent. The handling of the car is very good to excellent, IMO. I have tried to wash it out in fast turns but it does as it should. I suspect, a slight neg camber adjustment would make it even better. I want to lower it and set the alignment with a little neg, but I am concerned about the heavy weight and corresponding tire life as a result. I am hoping for 10K on the Conti's, but time will tell. There is very little feedback in the steering wheel (and a lot of boost). Perhaps this could be contributing to folks calling this understeer. Sorry, I can't post the pix, but I can email them to you and maybe you can figure out how to post them.

Sorry I was late for the pics...happy someone helped you out!
Anyway the lack of sensibility from the steering wheel seems not that good...I have the same problem with my father's MB. But the RS4 is such a nice car you'll love...I saw a dirty one, still in black...and was incredibly good looking...now clean...it's a beast! Congrats again on the car my friend

Thanks for posting the pictures so everyone can see. My Milltek should arrive tomorrow. I am shooting for a Thursday install. If it is not too much trouble, I will send you detail pictures to post of the new set up. I figure some might be interested. If anybody can shoot video for a sound bite, I am more than willing to meet up once I get it installed. I live in Newport Beach, CA.

I'm in Marina Del Rey and would like to hear your Milltek set-up when u get it installed. I'm considering the same set-up but concerned about how loud its going to be non-resonated.

Let me know.
