RS4 Obtainability

I checked the Audi website and the RS4 isn't in the line up and I can't find one at dealers anywhere and very few on the used market.

What's up with that? What was the production numbers on this thing?

Given my sig I know its hard to believe but Im actually looking into getting one before or by the end of the year.

Im not really an Audi expert so I wanted to ask if anyone here could give an educated guess on what the used RS4 market will be like in the next 4 to 6 months.

I keep hearing that Audi's depreciate like crazy but I figure that wouldn't be the case with a car like the RS4...am I crazy for thinking that?

You can still order a new '08 but you need to hurry as they are closing produciton soon.

Buying used definitely helps lowering the depreciation hit (as with any car), and I see 31 used RS4's on autotrader right now, so they are definitely attainable. There are also many more RS4's on the west coast for some reason, so they are easier to find in california.

It is pretty rare, but its the 4th most popular color followed closely by Sprint Blue. Here are more Mugello Pics, it really IS nice.

I'm in long beach, CA.I forgot about checking Autotrader though.Ordering an 08 sounds nice but I won't be ballin that much yet.A used 07 will probably be the best I can do when I'm ready to buy.I'm just wondering what they'll be going for at that time (end of year).

If you keep your eyes open and be ready to jump on a good deal by years end you could be looking at $60K.
