s4 advice

Guys,

I found a S4 on the Sacramento Carmax lot. They are calling it "2006 Audi S4 special Edition 4d sedan"

My first question is what is special edition in 06?

They are asking $45000 for it, 6 speed, white, black interior and 18k miles. Is that way high?

You can do a search for it on the carmax site but the link does not work if i post it here. Its Stock # 4422076

Thanks

I'm assuming it's a 25quattro special edition. Audi launched the car to commemorate 25 years of quattro all-wheel drive technology. MSRP on these cars was around 60k I think, so I don't think that price is "way high".

Dont think its the "anniversary edition". If I remember correctly the 25 yr anniversary edition came with DTM kit and only exterior color available was avus silver. The shifter should read #1 of 250 if its the anniv edition.

He's right, it isn't the 25 year anniversary edition. I think the price is a bit high. For comparison purposes, I have an 05.5 (same body style), tip, nav and fully loaded, 25K miles, & Milltek non-res exhaust, for sale in the $37K range. Not a lot of difference between the cars, but a $8K price difference. If you like that car, try to get them closer to $40K. At $40K it's a good deal.
