Modifications for S4

I am looking to get a reliable 400 hp (at the crank) out of my B6. Will full exhaust (headers through cat-back), intake, and chip get me there? Also, will I need to consider anything else in the powertrain, namely clutch, flywheel, or anything else to support the additional power?

chip/intake/full exhaust will get you around 380 ,you can achieve 400 by running high flow cats (100 cell) ,but might throw a check engine light, and stock 6speed tranny will hold up pretty good with this amount of horse power without any issue. Cheers

Nope it wont!!

I had all mentioned above and I am telling you at the wheels you will have 300hp--at the crank minus the driveline loss-blah blah blah you will have obviously more. I am more about real numbers.
I had the intake, dpipes, full non-res exhaust and revo chip for comparison. My cats were 200 cell high flow from milltek. ALthough my car sounded like the mean animal you would expect a zo6 modified would sound like, unfortuneately the hp to the wheels was not as much.
Honestly though 300 awd hp felt great on the butt dyno and I was very pleased especially on the highway with the torque numbers being high as well.
