Thanks for sharing your impressions, I can see how your review is spot on from what I would probably think too, I can't wait to get into one to drive!

that is ****ing ugly.

 

 

i dont feel the gallardo anywhere. the gallardo chasis is pretty stiff so all the handling performance is noticed in the suspension and weight distribution and in that area, well executed. it feels like audi all the way. it probably out handles the gallardo to be honest, well at least with the stock suspension. its very refined. as for the v8, it makes no sense what so ever, infact i still cant figure out why they would use the 8banger except to not compete with the G and even then it really wouldnt compete with the G. this car would be so much nicer with a v10 and a biturbo would be heaven. the exhaust sound is actually really nice from the outside unlike the gallardo you cant hear anything from the inside of the car with the windows closed. it is well insulated. it is a very comfortable car.

 

i went to see one the other day... wasnt too impress by it... in hk, the same amount of money can get a slight used F430 or Gallardo. I'd pick either one over the R8. the car looks like a supercar, but isnt the drive is just not sporty enough. the interior gave me the feeling of a lowered driving position Q7. not that the quality isnt great, but just doesnt feel like a real sports car like porsche, ferrari or lambo
