OK, so tonight I am coming home from a movie when i see 4 superbright HID lights coming up behind me. It turns out to be a Mustang GT with HID Fogs. I cannot tell what else this car had other than some form of a digital dash such as a Motec. Well this guys pulls up to me when we have cars infront of us and says "nice car, what do those have, like 250HP" I politely said "no, a little more." He then, since we are both sitting in traffic, says "too bad we can't run, I would kill you." I dont think anything of it an just move forward as normal. We both miss a light later down the road and are lined up next to each other. He is revving his engine at me so I figure, what the heck, the road is empty, why not? I was glad to show him what an S4 with EVO MS Intake, APR Downpipes, APR Cat-back, and GIAC Chip can do.

mustangs look nice but umm thats where everything ends... everything can beat a mustang GT my pt cruiser turbo spanx mustangs lol but i have a lot of ish done to it :-)

Mustangs are slow. Period

 

I know a few that will give quite a few people a run for their money. Especially if they are in the Chicagoland area, I could set some things up...

 

Yeah I cant bash them for all being slow.. I have to give props where they are due, the 03 Cobra is pretty quick out of the box and VERY mod friendly..

 

Funny timing of this post. I had my first race in quite some time, against a new Mustang GT Friday night. I had a good friend from high school with me and it was a like a blast from the past! First race was from a roll from about 50 - 100 and I pulled away by several lengths. Then we raced from a light and I pulled about 2 -3 lengths on him by the time I shifted into third. I'm sure he was bummed that he got beat by a 4 door sedan...my slow car

Dont kid yourself there are some very fast mustangs out there.
One of my friends has a fox body that puts down 610 at the wheels.

And believe me its fast. He is running low 10's in the quarter all day long.
And drives to and from the strip.


Now I know the car may feel like it is going to come apart if he wants to turn. LOL But dont kid yourself. There is always a faster car out there..
