more fun = RS4
more room = S6

it's basically choosing a Auto vs 6speed.

RS4, hands down! Practical, sporty, fun, and fast.

Drove the S6 and it was a little harsh riding for my taste.
Gotta believe the RS4 rides even harsher.

Just an opinion.

I love the interior of the S6 - but it's so big overall that it isn't as fun as the RS4.
lig, how does the RS4 compare to the C2S? if cargo hauling is not an issue, which one would you say is more fun to drive? and which one is faster?

For fun and speed - C2S all the way.

RS4 is almost too easy to drive - it just does everything you ask it to with ease.

RS4 would be an excellent car if you only had one car. It hauls people and hauls a$$. Looks good for a sedan and sounds great even stock.

Now that they are more easily available I think the prices on them will be dropping a bit.

Go and drive one and see if it pushes your buttons!

The RS4 is absolutely sick!!! It is really fast. It gets over 100 so easy that is happens very often. The S6 is alot more harsh than the RS4. DRC II is just great and the RS4 handles awesome and is a great family car. RS4=Sick!!!

I was in a similar dilemma to the OP.

I choose the RS4 because I hated the slushbox in the S6.

At the end of the day, though, as others have stated, the two are very different cars.

I think the RS4 is a better choice, + better resale value as well.
