Nissan Skyline Available ?
once they start delivering, they will hike their prices a lot higher
take the deal and run or pass it along to someone who will take advantage of this
I don't believe production numbers are released. I believe they have a projected sales number though.
When you say mass produced, what quantity are you referring to?
Not every Nissan dealer will be selling the GTR. A dealer has to invest $25k or somewhere near that amount in service equipment/training/inventory in order to be able to get an allotment.
So, the mark up is a culmination of recouping their infrastructure investment and low supply/high demand of the GTR.
For under $100k, can you buy another 2008 model car that can outperform the new GTR and are you a Nissan/GTR fanatic are some selling points of the car.

$135k, you can get the NEW 2008 Nissan GTR imported from Japan (RHD, but tag+titled), now in Cali. pm me if anybody interested. This is real deal. no "still in japan" or "on the boat". Arrived a few weeks ago, got preped.
Color in BLACK, Fulley loaded (for GPS, you have to have US map DVD from Nissan).

The car is not being mass produced and is well worth every penny that it costs... As for the markup, it's just a matter of how fast do you want it...
Nice fast car until you need service, then the same kid who cant fix your Maxima is now doing launches and tinkering with your $75K baby. I have the #2 car at a local dealer in NJ and do not think I'm going to take it, besides I just purchased Dub-U's white 996 X50!
the LHDs are coming in June, it is what the waiting list people are waiting for. The GT-R Guy at the Chicago Auto Show said that midwest dealers were asking 10-15 for the first spot, and that amount was as much as 25K in FL or Cali.
Never made them LHD. If there are any, most likely in Dubai or Saudi Arabia, they were converted. The R35 is the first GTR ever to come LHD from the factory.
IMHO having a LHD takes some of the appeal of having a Skyline in the first place.

There are going to be 1200 coming the first year. I've heard markups from $15k all the way to $60k. Midcity Nissan in Chicago is getting 5 (or 6) of them. Four of the cars have a $10k non-refundable deposit on them. One GTR is still available and I was quoted $85,500 + destination charges that would be "discussed in person." That price was for the base car. If you want silver, it's an extra $3000.
Needless to say, I passed. I refuse to pay over list for a car. If anyone has any specific questions let me know, I've been researching them rather extensively.
