LOL, I just read the part that said he was interested in '05 Range Rovers. I didn't know those were in the mid $30s. Must be high miles. He could put $30k down and finance the rest. hehe Sorry for the post.

Thanks for the post. Your RR is beautiful. I am looking at used 2005 Full Size HSE's. You can find them with high 30K mileage for mid to high 30's right now believe it or not! I know a guy who picked up an 04 for 34 grand...

I could make it work but don't want to spend that much on my daily. I'd rather buy more property this year so I'm capping myself!

That'd be the biggest that I'd tow. I'm mostly concerned with the Moto-tote and how all of the clearance would work with a bike on the back...

Thanks for everybody's feedback.

One of the guys I work with has an Infiniti FX-35 that is coming off his lease in March. The car is in perfect condition and he has had no problems/accidents etc. I think that he has had it 3 years and its got about 40K miles, but he is one of those people that keeps his cars in pristine condition - always dealer serviced. Let me know if you are interested and I can put you guys in touch. He lives in the valley.

SUV's are a MUST HAVE for any person with an active lifestyle

I know I can't live without mine just for hauling things - have you considered the new Audi SUV's, (not sure if they are in the 30k range used though)

X5, Cayenne and new ML's are good choices but the FX is a joke for storage space. That thing has less leg room/storage than my m3!

From what I heard the Range's have more issues under warranty that I'd rather take a Cayenne out of warranty than a Range in warranty

Take a peak at the Cayenne's cousin.. v10 or v8 Touareg with air suspension.. It makes for a very plush interior and a hell of a driver.

I was looking for a x5 or a cayenne when I test drove the VW. I bought a 2005 v8 air suspension, nav, 4 way climate control, heated seats, park assist, keyless entry, locking dif. for 27000.

Forgot about this thread...

Thanks but I wound up picking up an Audi S6 Avant instead... Best of both worlds, sporty and roomy and I can tow a small trailer...

Haha, update. I sold the Audi S6 and picked up an Lexus GX470 on lease with all of the toys! Hopefully this does the trick and keeps me interested for awhile! At least I can take it offroad...this thing is a legit crawler!

In case anyone is interested in these, look for the KDSS option or sport packages on older ones. It adds a FAT sway bar set and it hydraulically detaches when you go offroad and need the articulation! Pretty nifty if you ask me... It handles far less boaty than the regular ones! Rare but worth it for all of you 6speeders who probably drive like me...

Easy answer... no laughy

Just picked up my wife a loaded Mazda CX9 Grand Touring, won SUV of the year, loaded with more features then any car have ever owned and comes rollin on 20's...... Nav, bluetooth, remote rear hatch, blind spot detection, back up camera, Bose, telescope and tilt wheel, keyless start, ipod connect, moon roof, dual climate control, heated/pwr seats, steering wheel controls, xenon and xenon adjust button, AWD, etc... comes with two tone leather interior, awesome interior, nice gauge clusters.... I had cherokee in past limited loaded, have a 07 jeep 4dr JK as well and sold the Toyota Land Cruiser for this thing. Has near 300hp, and quiet on highway. Before you say no go test drive one, must be the grad touring which is loaded, etc... can get an 08 left over, maybe few miles for 30K range... list at 40K+... zoom zoom... had dual dvd's installed in head rests last week, for Jr Seriously could not be more happy.... I am a car enthusiast, research cars to death, modded 997 is my fun car etc. Looked around, and besides not having a hot emblem this car beats most most others costing much more. MPG is 17/22 I believe.... good luck
