Not true...My first two didn't have a front plate, neither does my truck or my Porsche.

 

Actually true. In states where it is the law to have a front plate the dealer will do it. Not always, but they will. My 02 GTI had it in place when bought from a dealer.

Edit. My bad, forgot R32s have the front bumper, not just a strip

 

I am more then serious....But I'm not looking for something that has been painted or repaired and I would be surprised if the deal only hit the rub strip. Generally they are far more careless then that. Not to mention...R32s don't have that rub strip.

 

Your right. Totally forgot there is no rubstrip on the R front end. Just the bumper.

 

This is correct. When buying a new car, always make sure to not have them drill holes in the front bumper
