I just got my '02 with 45K miles, Black on Black (more rare color combo) for $34ish. You should tell your friend about the market for these right now. Actually, you should tell him to keep it, it looks fantastic!

i bought mine last year with 16XXX miles and an extended warranty to 100K/2011 for 41K. Doesn't have the mods but the value of aftermarket is questionable, which is why people tend to part them out when they sell.
