If anybody has a pristine example of these cars, let me know. I'm already aware of and have investigated the ones on cars.com, autotrader, rennlist, here, and even craigslist, so I'm looking for those that haven't made their way onto the internet.

Criteria - not red or yellow; accident free; no leaks; properly serviced; clutch and seals should have been replaced; and manual. Prefer mods (aerokit, exhaust, etc.). No track time.

I don't intend to pay "top dollar" in this market, and given the current downward trend (I've seen low mileage beauty queens sell for low forties), I don't think I need to. But if you or somebody you know has one sitting in a garage and want to free up cash, I'm a buyer.

It's actually been longer!

I lost out on one in May/June that would have met my needs. Sold it while I was away on business. Local, too. Sh-t happens, though.

My list of "wants" has changed now that I've learned so much about these cars. I'm actually glad I didn't jump in when the 993 bug first bit. Prices coming down helps, too.

So, can you help?

 

Not sure if you were looking when I had a pristine 95 w/ 27k on it for sale in january of 08. Gorgeous car- apple took a dive and I unloaded it. Will buy another if I get the next commission.... pay the top dollar for the perfect car- you won't regret it.
