Very well sorted 911 Short Wheelbase Vintage race car. Car has raced with VARA (Vintage Auto Racing Association) and HSR West (on a few occasions) for the past 9 years. It has won the CP and CP3 Championships 5 of the last 9 years. Very well taken care of. Meticulously maintained. Fresh engine rebuild and transmission rebuild during the 2007 season. Holds many track records as a 2.0L and as a 2.5L.

• 2.5L Motor (Built by Allan Faragallah of Aase Motors in Fullerton CA.) 90mm JE Pistons with 66mm stroke, Carrera Oil pump, oil Bypass mod, Aluminum case with Case squirters, it was also machined so it uses intermediate shaft bearings and also has a squirter for intermediate shaft gear, 10.5-1 CR, MSD 6AL Ignition with BOSCH 007 Distributor with Pertronix, 2.2T Heads modified to 39mm Intake 37mm Exhaust (matches the 1 5/8 headers for a smooth flow) 2.2 Valves 46 intake and 40 exhaust, Cylinder spigots opened up to accept 90mm JE pistons, Added extra studs for 5 bolt chain boxes, Pauter Rods, ARP Rod bolts, Aasco Valve springs with Titanium retainers. GE 80 Cams, Knife edged crank, Cylinders moon cut, pressure fed chain tensioners with updated adapters for better oil pressure and less foaming.
• PMO 46mm carbs with Tall Manifolds and K&N Filters
• Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
• 901 Aluminum gear box with very expensive gearing (A, GA, L, R, W) with custom fabricated transmission cooler with fan, pump, and filter. Return line feeds directly on to R&P to help keep it cool.

If I wasn't looking for a more modern daily driver I'd be all over this... I've got a '70E for DE. I just don't want to overly modify it to make it a club racer like this.

Out of curiosity, how was the 914 hanging in there once he got around ???
