The car is fully titled, registered, and insured in NJ. The car is in fantastic condition as it only has 1600 never tracked miles.

Wow if I somehow came into "more money than god", I'd totally buy this as a trackday toy that you could drive there. I bet this thing would be unbelievable at Streets of Willow or Button Willow Raceway!

When I was going through the process of getting my cobra registered in NJ...the DMV inspector and I disucussed Atoms as I was thinking of getting one and he stated very clearly that there is no way to have one legally in NJ. Has something changed?

 

I'm not sure of when your conversation was, but when I insured and registered the car half a year ago, it was a pretty simple process. Perhaps what he was talking about was finding the VIN in the system? That was the only hiccup. The manager of the DMV where I had it registered had a simple solution though. I did put up a picture of the registration on the ebay auction. You should still be able to see it. Thanks for the interest!

The guy I dealt with was a real b@ll buster and made my life miserable with the cobra while I know other people who had no issues at all...so it may just be a roll of the dice.
