I love this car and I want it - does it happen to come with option code #SO0010, which is the magic Porsche pill that I could give to my wife to get her off my back and let me buy the damn car and be happy?

Sorry for any late replies, but I was out of town on business for the last week. Now I am back, so I believe I've replied to all messages.

I have attached an extra photo below of the documentation.

As for the option codes, I do not see the #SO0010 code anywhere on the hood sticker.

A lot of people have asked me about shipping the car, which shouldn't be a problem. I've bought from out of state before and used DAS with good results. I'm sure there are other great shippers too.

Unbelievably, I just had my 3rd firm buyer fall through yesterday. The buyer and his wife had an arguement about buying the car. He said his wife wasn't happy about spending the money on a Porsche when they had a newborn baby. Oh well... Did I tell anyone that I bought each of my two 996's both times when my wife was pregnant with my two kids? The benefit of having the engine noise in the rear is that it seems to put newborns to sleep really fast!

I have never known anyone who was a real buyer who cancelled because of their wife, its really just buyers remorse and the wife thing is the most played out excuse I have ever heard in my life! They make it seem like the wife is the only one with a brain and luckily the wife saves the day and makes them realize the fatal mistake they were about to make. When I sell one of my cars and the guy says he has to check with his wife I know the deal is done and he's not buying, because in those super remote cases when the wife does get involved with buying hubby a new car you can believe the issue of buying a new car was settled long before he went shopping!

I was kidding about the option code #SO - if you read the entire sentence you'd see I was joking about being one of those losers whose wife won"t treat him like a real man and go along with buying the car. Sorry - lame attempt at humor, but at least you get a bump. I would really like to buy this car.........I'd love to fly out and drive it home on a mini road trip.

Hello,

does the light weight fly wheel means it no longer is a dual mass fly wheel? General location for the car please and how many owners? Thanks.

Philippe

Does the single mass flywheel contirbute to a significant gear rattle from the transmission. I hear the noise can be significant. Thanks.

pwarnery, I sent you a pm on your previous questions.

As for the gear rattle, I too was very concerned before installing it. After driving with it, I rarely ever notice. I drive mostly freeway, so you would only hear it sitting at idle in neutral with the clutch out. Speaking for myself, it doesn't bother me at all.

I believe there a lot of members using LWFW's.

An absolute steal! I hope 996TTs this clean with warranties are around in a year or so when I can supplement my CTT. In the meantime i am race car searching, otherwise this would be a perfect buy. it should go quickly!
