01' 996 Turbo Artic Silver For Sale
I actually find the car much easier to drive with the LWFW and clutch, and I never stall.
After driving a 996NA for over 4 years and then switching to the 996TT, the only complaint I had with the Turbo was that the hydrolically assisted clutch engagement point felt very vague and inconsistent.(996NA doesn't have hydrolically assisted clutch) There are several threads talking about this issue with the Turbos, which is why some guys switch to a whole GT2 setup for better clutch feel and feedback.
After putting in this new clutch/flywheel kit, the engagement point is much more precise and consistent than before. I definitely consider it an improvement over stock. I live on a hill where I have to stop at a light on an uphill slope everyday, and I could immediately notice that the new clutch/lwfw kit helped a lot.

jqhayden,
The clutch/lwfw kit ran me around $2,800 if I remember correctly for parts only. If you get the dealer to install it, they typically charge somewhere between $1-2K for labor.
leftlane,
I replied back to you with an e-mail.
Thanks

Hello, I currently have two buyers that have submitted offers. One of them has first dibs, so I would anticipate that the car will be sold next week.

Thanks for all the nice comments! This is the 17th used vehicle I've personally sold, and I've been lucky and never had a buyer fall through until this time around when I had 4 fall through! (I'm the designated seller of cars for my extended family)
#1 lesson learned - Don't tell new prospective buyers that the car is already "spoken for" until you actually have the deposit in hand from the buyer. Twice I could have sold the car much sooner if I hadn't of done that. Oh well, no loss... now I get to shop for a new toy
Thanks again for everyone's help and interest.

Final FYI for anyone shopping for aftermarket mods: I'll be posting up some 996TT parts for sale this weekend, so keep an eye out if you're interested. (iForged 19" wheels/tires, TechART coilovers, Cargraphic exhaust, and a couple sets of exhaust tips) Thank you.
Price paid?
Hey there,
I'm new to 6speed, and starting to look for a 996 TT or 997 C2S. Can I ask what you sold this car for, or at least, what you were originally asking for it? I can't seem to see the price in your 1st few posts. Maybe I'm blind!
I can't PM yet or I would!
