Since I need to sell the car sooner rather than later, lowering price to $80K. I drove the black series on the track at Laguna Seca at an AMG Driving event on Nov 17th. They had 3 of them there as well as many many SLS cars. The black series is very impressive on the track, very easy to drive, goes where you point it and the you can make smooth corrections with the throttle. The SLS was very impressive as well. Quite a difference when you drive a track ready car vs a more road oriented car.

FS: 2008 CLK 63 Black Series

Asking $80K

Never thought I'd sell the car but I'm moving to Canada and cannot import it because it is on the inadmissible list. Mercedes didn't get the car approved for Canada so unfortunately I have to sell it or trade it for something else.

The car is black with a little over 4K miles, 4091 as of the moment. Stock with iPod, bluetooth, clear bra, and a factory extended warranty 7 year/100K miles. I bought the car in California and it is now in Tallahassee, Florida, always garaged and very well cared for. The in service date of the car is Nov/2007 so the warranty will cover the car until Nov/2014. I have not tracked the car and I don't believe the original owner did either, no heat stress to the rotors at all and the tires are still in great shape. The car is in perfect condition. The CLK63 BS is basically a 500hp track car that can be driven on the street and you don't have to worry about the warranty being invalidated because of track time. It has an adjustable suspension and is likely the best car AMG has produced.

Here a good description that I saw another owner write on the car...
"Being a huge Formula 1 fan, I was drawn to this car due to it being billed as the "Street Legal" version of the F1 Safety car and I'm a sucker for rare, special edition cars (they only sold 350 of these in the US, 500 worldwide). The 500 HP V8, paddle shifted 7-speed transmission, fully adjustable suspension, enormous brakes, additional coolers for the differential, engine and transmission, and so on certainly didn't hurt either. It has everything you'd want for a track car that you could easily enjoy driving to work every day. "

1st 4 were taken the other day, last one when I bought the car. More available, just request what you want to see. Thanks
If I were looking for another car to add to the stable - it would be this. GLWS

Beautiful car, wanted to know about the extended warranty. Is that through Mercedes-Benz? I did not know they offered 7 years?

Thank you

Yes the warranty is through Mercedes-Benz and it is 7/100K however, I returned 2 years of it so it is now 5/100K as the car was still CPO'd and that cannot be returned. The new owner can always purchase the 2 years back from any Mercedes dealership. I was considering trading the car in and once traded in, the 2 years is not transferable if the car is traded to a dealer.

Thanks Trey... the CLK63 Black is a seriously under rated car... so few people of driven them and most just think they are a really expensive CLK which really hurts the car I think. They really are great track cars more like at GT3 than maybe anything else... heavier than the GT3 but more powerful. Very easy to drive fast and control at speed and very much a Mercedes backed car you can drive as much as you want on a track and not worry about warranty work being denied because the car was on a track. I really hate to sell it.

Look at my car list and see if there is anything you can get into Canada that you might like to trade.

There are pictures on my profile. The M3 has a 50K motor build and the engine bay/supercharger is show quality. Don't want to sell it at all, but a CLK BS is a very special car. E350 is almost brand new.

CTT is wifes daily, in very good shape for a car w/ 50 k miles (I would trade it plus at least $40 k for the BS....would give wife the E350, lol).

If it was 6 months in the future, I would buy this. Great price for a fantastic car. Good luck with the sale.

Is your Black Series still for sale? Absurd if it is.

Took a ride in a very modified (RennTech) CLK Black Series yesterday & was seriously impressed. That machine was insanely priced at a Benz dealership--they will never get the $ they are asking. What's not to fall madly in love with this beast. What sort of trades are you considering? I don't know what else you own. Are you considering any Porsche Turbos or do you already own a stable full? Sorry you had to part with such an amazing machine. To some extent I hope that's balanced by having the sale over with--Canada will treat you well--it's a fine country even if Benz in their infinite pomposity did not bother to get the CLK Black Series certified to lurk there. Best of luck with the move, Jeff
