FS: 2008 CLK 63 Black Series
Asking $80K
Never thought I'd sell the car but I'm moving to Canada and cannot import it because it is on the inadmissible list. Mercedes didn't get the car approved for Canada so unfortunately I have to sell it or trade it for something else.
The car is black with a little over 4K miles, 4091 as of the moment. Stock with iPod, bluetooth, clear bra, and a factory extended warranty 7 year/100K miles. I bought the car in California and it is now in Tallahassee, Florida, always garaged and very well cared for. The in service date of the car is Nov/2007 so the warranty will cover the car until Nov/2014. I have not tracked the car and I don't believe the original owner did either, no heat stress to the rotors at all and the tires are still in great shape. The car is in perfect condition. The CLK63 BS is basically a 500hp track car that can be driven on the street and you don't have to worry about the warranty being invalidated because of track time. It has an adjustable suspension and is likely the best car AMG has produced.
Here a good description that I saw another owner write on the car...
"Being a huge Formula 1 fan, I was drawn to this car due to it being billed as the "Street Legal" version of the F1 Safety car and I'm a sucker for rare, special edition cars (they only sold 350 of these in the US, 500 worldwide). The 500 HP V8, paddle shifted 7-speed transmission, fully adjustable suspension, enormous brakes, additional coolers for the differential, engine and transmission, and so on certainly didn't hurt either. It has everything you'd want for a track car that you could easily enjoy driving to work every day. "

Good luck with your sale man! This car is immaculate...and a great seller...
Jlee--I see you have had a number of the same cars that I have and/or had. How is the ride quality in the BS compared to the 997S/996TT as well as compared to M5? PLease feel free to PM as to not hijack this thread. Many thanks in advance.

I would say that the ride is a bit stiffer from the factory over a 996tt, but it is of course adjustable. The single biggest thing that I notice is that the BS seems to want to drive where ever you point it. Being a high torque, RWD car, with a great setup it just goes where you point it in any gear at any time. I love P cars so much, but the linear power curve of these naturally aspirated torque monsters is pure sex appeal.
My complaints are limited and small. No rev on downshift is the biggest.
