With 44k, the 2007 997 TT is going to need brakes, clutch etc... very shortly which is very pricey on a TT. Besides the service a 44k car is going to have a lot more wear regardless of how well it has been kept, rock chips, bolster seat wear, paint, raw leather on the steering wheel, etc will no doubt not be worth saving 20k give or take on the car, just my opinion. There is a lot more peace of mind with warranty coverage and the fact that everything is good for many many miles, the only service is basically an oil change till you hit the higher mileage. Spend more money and get a fresh car with warranty. 40k less miles in a TT is worth 15-20k more in my opinion.
I have a mint white/blk 997 TT 6speed 4920 miles with "goodies" going on the forum shortly,keep an eye out for it. It won't be 75k though
