Goldcoast Bentley in Chicago recently got a white 997 Turbo in on consignment from a local pro-hockey player. It has techart wheels, and Ceramic breaks, but is also a tiptronic car. It is on their website I believe. Good luck with your search, as I am in a similar position.

It was in Colorado... And it was perfect. I think prices will fall when the 2010s start coming up. I am looking for white on black, sport seats, CF, PCCB and some light mods or no mods. Not interested in upgraded turbos.

If you don't mind me asking, was it private party or a dealer? And if it was a dealer, was it CPO'd? Just trying to gauge the market.

 

Everyone, everywhere stresses the importance of CPO. I don't disagree with folks that know better. However, what in addition to the 4yr/50k miles, does the CPO get you? Up to 80k miles with same warranty features as 0-50k miles? If I manage to find an 08tt for, say $7-8k below market from a private party, wouldn't I be able to get the car CPO'd for a couple of thou and come out ahead?

 

A mint white one is hard to come by...
