Great car! Great price!
But damn this economy, even though I actually need an additional family vehicle I've become more excited about my savings balance than my car jones!
Best of luck finding a home and a lucky new owner.

Beautiful. As the owner of a sweet black 05 E55 wagon, I can personally attest that this is an amazing car. Mine sits in the garage next to my 04 911 Turbo and I'll admit, it is a tough decision every morning.
If you want a fast, comfortable, 7 passenger car, this is the one.
I love the color.

It's a done deal, the car now resides in Atlanta.

E55 Wagon Sought (well, sort of)
Chuck - thanks for responding re: your car going to Atlanta.
If you guys hear of another, let me know (yes, I've seen the boring metallic grey/black car on eBay). I like unique colors and that's why the blue caught my eye (when in doubt -- black always looks nice).
I had thought about adding a 1994 E500 to the stable (I've passed on several "cream puff" examples over the past 5-6 years and now thought I'd grab one as a daily sleeper -- however, wife said she'd stop whining for a Quattroport if she got the E55 wagon).

why no sale? rhetorical now that I actually read the thread
still a beautiful Benz--just shocked that it has not sold as far as I can tell. No recalls, lemon law buy-backs or any other nasty indications saying stay away. One would like to think that all it would take is both the MSRP on a new one and how rare they are. Hang in there. GLWS
I need to be careful and take my own advice--read the darn thread--congratulations on the sale & I hope it's enjoying hanging out in Atlanta.
