Weather or not the car has been tracked has no bearing on how reliable or how well it has been taken care of. I have seen many prestine cars that have been tracked and have seen cars that have not been tracked that have been abused on the street.
Each car is different. 996TT's are very reliable cars.

My car is modded and it has not seen a track. Plus, Porsche run the crap out of every engine before it leaves the factory. I dont agree that modding makes the car unreliable at all. I think it has a lot more with the owner and how the car is maintained.
