Update (effectively relisted)
Sorry for the lack of recent updates...short story is car is for sale again as of today. The new price reflects the current blue book (I'm still a few $k on the fairer side of an "excellent" car, but for whatever reason, values for C4s's seem to have improved since I listed it originally).
Long story is I got a deposit on the car back in May, then discovered in gathering the docs to close that the title had a typo on it (get this 143,394 miles vs. 14,394 miles back in '05 when I purchased her) and this was reflected in the carfax.
It took the lovely state of California a mere 10 weeks to fix the issue (even though I had the original docs from the dealer showing that it was the DMV's fault), and the original buyer didn't want to wait so I released him. The only thing that has happened in the interim is the car passed CA smog as of June 2010 (prior buyer didn't do a PPI). Good news is I now have a clean / correct title in hand.
PM me or call 650-996-3833 if you're interested. Thanks for taking a look.

So I discovered there is still a problem with the Autocheck report for the car over the weekend. Despite my correcting the mileage documentation with the state, Autocheck has not corrected their database and so the car shows up as having a potential odometer rollback.
Anyway, this should be fixed by Autocheck overnight and, for anyone who is still concerned, I have full paper trail of where/how the typo at DMV originated (I actually have the original DMV transfer records from the selling dealer showing the correct mileage as 14,394 at transfer in 2005 and definitely NOT 143,394).
Also if anyone has access to carfax and wouldn't mind running a report so I can see if the same discrepancy exists over there that would be much appreciated. These companies should be forced to offer a free report to owners in the same way that the credit bureaus have to do it...
