@Jake OK, selling for personal reasons. Car is fantastic and runs great. It was a weekend car until recent. Bought it in 12/09 from Audi of Alexandria.

@roho, Give me a call when you are in the area and I may be able to meet up with you. I dont work too far from DC, we can meet in shirlington or crystal city. Maybe one of the experts can chime in here because I dont recall what exactly came in the prestige. If all else fails, I can take a picture of the window sticker (I still have it). I got the first oil change at 5k miles, the car only has 9,500 now so its not due for a while. I will have to look up the warranty exp date. The Audi care does transfer over so all your major services should be on them.

Are you sure you want to see the car with the limited amount of time you have? Being from out of town, will you have time to make the deal if the car is to your liking?

 

Make the deal? You mean on the spot? LOL. I am in the market so if the car is in great condition and I like it, I will make an offer (that day or within a reasonable time period)...I can easily fly back any day of the week to pick up.

UGH! Do you know if he gets the sales tax credit in DC on the trade in? If so, then it's probably close to what the sale price would have been. If not, then crap!

 

Not sure if they have the tax credit in Virginia...he didn't mention it.

I was in DC that week and took a taxi to the dealership to see the car. They wanted 52k for it... I got them down to $49,800, but they wouldn't clean/detail the seats (quite a bit of soil/dirt on them). I didn't want to take the chance that the white alcantara was too soiled beyond repair.

Color combo wasn't my first choice, but I would have paid $48,000 for sure.
