2007 Porsche 911 Turbo

This is my personal car and as you can see from my feedback I am a stickler when it comes to details and relaying all information even if it's a bit more than you want to know. I have owned four 911 Turbos since 2000 including a GT2 and this car is by far my favorite and you will see why. I am regretfully selling it since I have just moved to the city and with my new work and living location I really have no time at all to enjoy this amazing machine and it is just a shame to have it sitting in the garage when it should be out on the open road.

I will start by saying this car is immaculate. When I say this I mean the interior, exterior and mechanics or the car are in like new condition aside from micro abrasions from small road debris and minor wear which has to be under magnified inspection to see. The under side of the front lip does have some scraping to it but you actually have to bend down and look under the front of the car to see it. There are also two pin head size nicks, one on the hood lower and one towards the rear of the car which again need very close inspection to see and would not even photograph. I looked for a year to find this car and these exact options and if you are an enthusiast like I am you know this is the ultimate setup for a 911 turbo to maximize performance. It was hard enough to find a clean 6-speed but throw in the PCCBs (Ceramic breaks), locking rear diff, short shifter, navigation, chrono sport and silver black color way and your in for a true expedition. Look around ebay or anywhere for that matter and you'll see this combo is VERY hard to find. I bought this car in the summer of 2010 from the original owner with 19k miles on it and now with 24k on it now you can see it hasn't seen much use as I have two other cars. The car's original sticker stock was $154k and I have personally put another $28k into it.

I will now go over the custom work that was done because I am not like most who just throw and bolt things on. I have a renowned porsche tech that has been working on my cars for over 14 years and only because I have known him so long does he work with me. He has a very select clientele and to be perfectly honest under normal circumstances I would never be able to afford his work. That being said he is the best of the best and every mod on this car was carefully considered. There was zero expense spared on quality or performance. The only compromise was going with 20" wheels rather than 19"s, as there is a slight advantage on a track with 19"s, but as I do not track cars and was spending over $10k on the wheels and tires alone, I went with the visually superior 20" 20" HRE 890Rs With Custom Silver Centers and Polished Lips, front tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 245/30/20s and Rears are Continental Extreme Contact 325/25/ZR20s and am very happy with my decision. Tires have about 85% of the tread on them as they have only had a few hundred miles on them. The drive is no different than the stock 19"s other than getting a lot more heads turned my way and people asking me what what kind of wheels are those.

After the new wheels and tires were on there was a slightly larger gap between the tire and fender than I like so we decided to use a set of H&R springs to adjust the height approximately 1" lower. As you can see from the pictures it made an amazing difference and the car looks very aggressive but still feels very similar to stock but performs better. The normal suspension setting now is a little tighter than stock and but when activating the "sport" suspension setting it is the same stiffness as pressing it with the stock springs.

If you know about turbos, getting the engine to breath better equals better performance and we chose to go with the Cargraphics exhaust for it's proven quality, performance and exhaust note. Just the exhaust alone gives the car an additional 25 not to mention an amazing sound which has to be heard to be believed. It's by no means an annoying race set up and has a very mean low rumble at idol but when you put your foot into it this exhaust really lets out a roar. Coupled with the exhaust we installed the GIAC ECU mod which adjusts the cars fuel, timing, turbos ect all in sync with the new exhaust and provides another 50+HP. This internal CPU has a very convenient plug under the drivers side dash into which fits a control unit that can be used to return the cars program to Stock, Valet (retarding performance), Program 1 (giving the extra 65HP) or RACE ( which gives up to 80+ HP but can only be done using very high octane race fuel) which I have never done. These setting can be changed on the fly and has many applications. Mind you ALL these mods are in no way permanent and can be removed at any time leaving the car identical to stock with no trace of any of it.

Depending on how the auction goes I might consider selling the car with the mods removed as they are very easy to sell separately and bring much more sold alone than all together. I have had the mods on for less than 600 miles and everything is still in practically new condition as well as the wheels and tires. Wheels have zero scrapes or scratches and have never been curbed.

I also had a front and rear K40 radar detection system build in which is practically invisible unless it detects radar and displays a blight blue LED light low on the center console showing if it's a front or rear warning along with a voice stating the same and how strong the signal is. This unit also has a wireless remote to adjust volume, voice options, silent mode and to turn on or off. Some of the smaller details are the custom silver hood crest and smoked side markers which I really love on a silver turbo. I also had a wireless bluetooth cell phone unit installed along with a iphone adapter plug. Of course those are easily reversible as well. I have not tinted the windows as I have found in California it greatly increases the chances of being pulled over.

Well that pretty much sums it up. I have all the car's records, receipts, books, both keys and car has an immaculate car fax. There is an extended 4 Star transferable warranty on the car which provides identical factory coverage up to 50k miles or until Feb of 2014. Only difference is the car can have work done ant the shop of your choice and it not confined to Porsche dealerships only which in my past experience is a huge advantage.

As far as performance, this car even being a 6 speed will out perform a 2011 911 PDK turbo and will pull 0-60 in under 3 seconds and 1/4 mile in the very low 11s! I encourage interested parties to do some research on the mods for more details and I will happily put any serious buyer in touch with my tech for any questions I can not answer. Very sad to see her go. Good luck.
