Dammit for some reason my account is replying to threads instead of sending out PMs. Really strange as that's two now like this. It's hard to believe I'd make this error twice, but maybe I just was that absent minded.

I noticed that you are in the market for a 996TT for sale. I have a very complete packaged car here. Let me know if you are interested in discussing further. Oh, and I'm local!

That's a pretty sweet setup and certainly has a ton of money into it. I just finalized a sale on a car already, so I can't buy yours, but I would really like to know your opinions on shifters. I saw that you put a 997 shifter in your car, and you remarked having tried a bunch. I'm struggling with whether to go with a 997 (GT3) system or the 997 short shift kit in the new vehicle. I hope to test them both myself, but feedback is always appreciated.
My recommendation would be to invest in the 997 SSk first (if you want to spend that much) and I bet you'll love it! Keep in mind that these tranny's don't like to be powershifted or shifted too quickly in general. I'm always cautious to shift as fast as the car wants and no more or it may grind and growl at you! Hope that helps!
