FS: 2002 BMW M Roadster
FS: 2002 BMW M Roadster
Year: 2002
Make: BMW
Model: M
Price: $18250
Mileage: 63110
Color: Red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): VA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
The Bad:
-The PPI that I did found that the guibo would need to be replaced within 10-15k miles (that was the ONLY mechanical "issue" found)
-The plastic piece at the base of antenna is broken
-The drivers seat needs to have the bushings replaced (I have the replacement bushings, I just haven't installed them - this is a common z3 issue)
-The seat belt guides are broken on both seats (also a common z3 issue)
-I wish I had more of the service history (what can I say, I'm ****)
-Some rock chips, and minor curb rash on the front spoiler
The Good:
-All VIN tags in place
-No accidents
-Clean carfax
-The car has not been repainted
-The car has never been raced or tracked
-Inspection II was done by previous owner on last service (three bars remaining on service indicator)
-The car runs exceptionally well, it's an absolute joy every time I drive it. It can sit for a week+ and will immediately fire up.
-Rear tires were replaced about 500 miles ago (I had a low speed blow out)
-Mods: K&N filter and shark injector
-The top is in great shape, although the rear window is a bit cloudy (nothing untypical)
-The wind deflector will be sold with the car
-I could go on and on....
I love this car, but I bought a modded 135 in December and now have 4 cars in the driveway. I need to cart a kid or two on occasion, thus the reason for the 135, so unfortunately this beauty is my least practical vehicle and really should go to a new owner - as reluctant as I am. $19,500

forgot to post those, they're up now...thanks for the interest
The "Guibo" is a little rubber puck that couples the drive shaft. It absorbs some of the shock of clutch engagement. It is 8 bolts and about an hour of work.
That is a lovely car.

Yup, great motor and platform.

(only because I have no real need for another BMW convertible).
