Congrats Eric! Hey how did you get it sold, forums or other source and did you get around what you were asking? I am having a hard time selling one of my cars, it's a modded SL55 AMG with warranty and all, the car is a gem...I've lowered the price a few times....I've got it psoted here and on a couple of mercedes sites and autotrader and cars.com.... anything else I could do? I've gotten a few of those "we sell your car for you" folks who apparently have an online network, ebay, google, facebook and online dealer distribution channels they claim they can sell the car within 45 days. Any thoughts on this? or any thoughts of whatI could do more to sell the car, I don't wanna just give it away, I'd like to see that it goes to a good home and I get an offer on it that I can live with.
Congrats on the sale of this car, if it lasted a few more months I would have been all over it
Sunir, in my very limited experience those "we sell your car" folks typically want a percentage or something of the value of the car. If you find one of them willing to do it for a flat fee that's better for you IMO. Either way they will basically make fancy ads for the car and publish them everywhere they possibly can and manage all the tire kickers etc just saving you the time and hassle of dealing with it.

Market on high(er) end modded cars is a strange one.

LOL. I had so many guys contact me with:
If you can hold it for six months......
If you'll take my car as trade (at top dollar of course).........
Once I sell my current car.........
If I win the lottery.......
Thanks for beating me to it. That was a fun day. We need to do it again.
Yes, it is Scott's old car.
