So sad to see it go after such a short time. I do recall having those type of traffic tickets causing me to get rid of a sports car. It was painful to pay so much and drive it like a prius so you dont lose your license.
I think if you started tracking it, you would change your mind about wanting to sell it. I have driven scuds and 458 italias and GT3's on the track and my GT2 is far better then everyone one of them.

Gorgeous car, love the stereo upgrade too. I enjoy driving the 997tt even when just plodding around but if I couldn't occasionally wind it out it would be hard to justify keeping it. GLWS and hopefully no regrets - obviously you've sunk a lot of time, effort and cash into the car.

 

Love the GT2. The shop has a 996 GT2 but don't think we are ready for the 997 GT2 yet

 

Wow...recall your post here couple of months ago, where you tried, and eventually succeeded in getting rid (selling) of that dead gorgeous black 997 GT2 -3k miles!! at circa $120,000. IIRC.

This agreement is for 84 months from ISD or 75,000 miles. This leave 39 months of Platinum warranty on the GT2 or 58,000 miles. There is rental reimbursement and emergency roadside assistance covered in this extended warranty. The factory warranty expires 9/2/2012.
