it's actually quite common to fade or hard-line paint into carbon fiber and clear coat it. as you can see in the images provided, the darker areas are actually clear coated carbon fiber. the Arancio Borealis and Carbon Fiber really crawl in sunlight.

Oh yeah, I agree. I've mostly seen people do hard-line paint fade (ex. your vents on a hood). The most common thing that I can think of is M3 rear spoiler paint fade.

I just noticed that you "missed" the fade on your rear bumper vents. Had enough fading upfront?

In 2012, I've taken this Z to Caffeine and Octane and Mountain Runs a few times even made it up to the Tail of the Dragon for Nissan's ZDayZ.
