Nothing done to the transmission. The torque is what causes slippage. I had my tuner purposely keep the torque low (he likes to keep it below 375awtq) to prevent any problems. The T3 setup also has a smoother torque delivery than a stock turbo setup so the tranny is not being abused at all. It shifts great, same as new.
Thanks
yeah, wondering about the clutch pack mods too. Have they come up with upgraded equipment for the SST trans yet?
interested in a straight up trade for a 996 c4 with 80K and a stock 03 evo 8 with 20K?

Torque is what kills the SST clutch packs, as stated. Dodson and SSP are both making upgraded clutch packs, but the clutches themselves are not really the issue at this point. Getting the TCU to apply enough clamping pressure on the clutches is the biggest problem once torque levels are increased further (500 lb/ft or so).
This is a nicely modded car and would be a blast to daily drive. GLWS!

Sold the Do-luck trunk so the stock trunk is now back on the car. I have lowered the price as well!
Here is a picture with the stock trunk back on the car:

Turbo kit is off the car now... stock turbo, downpipe, exhaust manifold, injectors, etc is back on the car.
There are still some nice aftermarket additions to this Evo. The first post has been updated to reflect how the car currently sits.
Lowered the price a good bit too!
