So far I'm not having much luck negotiating below 80k. Santa Cruz, Beverly Hills both have low mileage white ones. Priced well above 80k. I prefer to buy from a private party though.

62k? How many miles did you have? I got 3 on ebay on watch. I just missed out by 2 weeks on an extremely clean one on autotrader. Nicely modded and highly optioned asking $79k. He ended up trading it in for about $74k and now its for sale on ebay for $86k. AGH!

 

Once the new car comes out you'll see more on the market as people trade up. Cars by Dawydiak in SF had a nice silver one low mileage/options for 72.9K that did nothing on E-Bay. See if they still have it, was a consignment car.

 

'May' is the key word here. Unless the new PDK wins over the hearts of most enthusiasts prices on the 996/7 GT3's 'may' stabilize or even increase. Time will tell. Either way, the manual trans cars will certainly remain special and coveted by purists.

 

I'm sure you have thought of thus but DuPont registry has a number of nice examples for sale.

 

Had 38k miles but was still under CPO warranty. It was at CNC motors last time I checked.

I have a silver on black '07 GT3 with 7k miles (garage queen) with a CPO for the next 1.5 years that I don't drive. If you can't find a good one, let me know.
