997-GT3: looking
Still looking.. man.. GT3's are hard to find at great prices. I must've missed the wave of low priced GT3's from 68k-73k last month (what other members told me they paid) I've set my price 07: 73-76k and 08: 76.1k-80k. Is this too hard to find? Would like to buy by May, perhaps wait till next year?

I'm in the market for a .1 RS, and they range from 90-115k right now, which is quite a bit stronger than a year ago.
I talked to a couple of dealers in the past week and they indicated wholesale on a good example RS .1 is in the low 70s - 80k. So I'd expect normal private party sales in the high 70's to high 80's. Which is NOT what they are listing for right now.
.2 cars are crazy $ right now.
So like you, I'll wait. Get an RS at a fair price, drive for a few years and pickup a 991 or .2RS.
Highest bidder on eBay at 70.1, but they had a reserve. So they emailed me back and offered it to me at 82.5. Blue book is at 75k retail and they have it advertised for 78k on Craigslist. So I guess people aren't really bidding on these cars.
It shouldn't be as long as a PPI from a professional tech says so. Personally I'd rather locate a non tracked car as it typically takes away all the questions or apprehensions one might have about a tracked car. Don't get me wrong, I'm not insinuating a tracked car is any less of a car but it certainly does raise an eyebrow with regard to how 'used up' the car in question may be.
