FS: 87 RS Clone

Year: 1987
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $36900
Mileage: 140000
Color: Dolphin Grey
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): NJ
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

If you are a fan of backdates, this is a pretty good example  Details... 87 chassis, 17" wheels, suspension bits, no A/C but heat and defrost work fine, radio in glove box. G50. Valve grind and guides done about 5k miles ago. Cerullo XR leather seats, redone interior carpets, RS door panels, steel fenders and hood, fiberglass ducktail and bumpers. Steve Wong Chip, danske dual in out exhaust, SSI heat exchangers, Nardi wheel, Rennline interior aluminum bits, Wevo shifter, red belts, alcantara dash and window sill cover, new starter and rotors/pads, spark plugs. That's most of it but I am sure I am forgetting other stuff...not set up as a race car but as a fun street car.
Begrudgingly listing for sale but GT3 incoming...would rather nip the spousal disgruntlement that will rain down on me by freeing up garage space.

I never weighed it when I owned it, but when I "re-did" the interior I stripped a lot of weight and it felt really light and fast!

bump...deal never closed, car still available! Got lots of emails from purists that this really isn't a "clone"...no argument but take it for what it is, a fun, reliable, relatively inexpensive P-car to tool around in that looks nice (if a more modern interpretation of the early 70's look

Very nicely done. Backdates are really the best of both worlds.
