Polyurethane Turbo LOOK rear bumper for 996 Narrow Body
Polyurethane Turbo LOOK rear bumper for 996 Narrow Body
I have a bumper that was never installed on my car because of too many issues to mention. "installer was a real jerk" Their company deals with factory components and any after market product makes them EXTREMELY uneasy
Anyway I purchased the bumper and had the installer cut the holes for parktronic, etc. and we had a HUGE disagreement, etc. and he would not install it on my car. And so I had to install another bumper.
So; I now have 2 bumpers. This bumper has been primed and ready for paint.
Buy it for $750 and Buyer pays for shipping, etc.
I am located in south Florida.

yes I did keep the bumper, and you would not beleive the issue with the installer. We ALMOST got in a fist fight. He did not want to install any aftermarket bumpers and he had my car totally apart. I "pleded" with him to install the bumper. What a freaking nightmare.
The bumper is similar to the C4s or Turbo bumper. It is lower on the sides as well. Makes the car look more aggressive. Also I was not going to install the bumperetts.
Why would he not install this bumper but install another. If Im correct the one you ended up having installed looks almost identical? Sorry if im wrong, Just curious...
Will this go on my 99 996?

After he threw a fit regarding the first bumper, I told him that I would order a bumper and have it sent to their shop. I did not want the OEM bumper. When the second one arrived, he had the same issues. I had to plead with him and it took 3 weeks to get my car back. The final bumper was fiberglass and was a little easier to install according to them. The car does look amazing and they stated that they would never install any after market parts on their cars again. This body shop does almost 100% of the local work for the local porsche dealership and they are used to snap and bolt with no thought involved. With any after market body parts, you have to work it, work it, etc. until it fits. That is very typical.
Back on the market. I totally forgot about this and my wife brought it to my attention. It is still for sale. The bumper is in Delray Beach, Florida. Any offers
