EDIT: Just recently got Motronic programming by Protomotive. Peak hp, and especially midrange torque is much improved, along with spoolup.

It is a one-of-a-kind factory paint sample in Lamborghini's Titanium Metallic. People are always complimenting and asking about the unique color of this Turbo. The car is fast, turbos spoolup is quick, and suspension setup to handle responsively.
The body has never had a single ding, not even repaired ones. All original paint. There are some tiny chip at the front, and the not-uncommon rear windshield wiper scratch, which was present and already touched-up when I purchased the Turbo. Brake pads are in excellent shape. Tires have plenty of life left. Oil is approaching 3k mi, which is around when I change it (Mobil 0W40). Current boost set at a conservative at ~1.2BAR. There is plenty of safety margin, and has never crossed into high territory. I know the motor is very strong, as it dyno'd 455rwhp and 505rwtq on the stock K16s with just programming and Cargraphic exhaust. With the current programming and hybrid turbos, you'll be experiencing 500+ rwhp with similar torque on street gas. That is everything about the car... it's unique, handles as if on rails, and pulls like a rocket. Feel free to email me with questions: 1stephen1@gmail.com

Here are some details on the hybrid turbos:
Even though the K16 turbine wheels are 2mm smaller than the K24, the housing is 20% larger in A/R. So, the flow is actually faster than the K24 housing. Additionally, porting that was done matches the inlet dimensions of the K24s, but since the housing is tighter, the air is compressed more, resulting in higher velocity; that results in aggresive spoolup of K16 while better flow than K24. The flow is actually faster than the K24 housing. I can show you 1.2BAR of boost at 3k rpm... as well as at 7500 rpm redline!
Backpressure is relieved through the aforementioned porting. The folks that are running the Garretts and the ball-bearing units have an even tighter A/R and smaller T-wheel.
As for the compressor side, if you take the difference between the K16 to K24, and double it, that's about the size of my hybrid cold side. I also have the CNC Billet backplate, which provide stability for the sealing rings and thrust bearing and thrust stack. They are also ceramic coated, as are the ported headers.

Tim: Not sure yet... got a couple of RE projects I'm looking at, so just looking to free up some ka-ching, and maybe pick up a convertible to tie me over for a yr or so. Things have gotten busy, and I've only driven ~200 miles in the past 6 wks...
Raza: Thanks man... just decided to sell recently, and if it happens, I'll definitely be one sad puppy.
Alevine: Thanks! The speakers were a factory option for '01 with two speakers. I have been told on a few occasions that it sounds better than the latter year Bose setups, but truthfully, Porsche systems in general are all just "ok". Now, the engine music... that's another story!

Stephen you're nuts!
I drove that car in chicago. I also remember seeing that lambo titanium turbo when it was brand spanking new ou t of the truck in NYC. You have to see the car in person to appreciate the paint color. Its simply gorgeous. That turbo was pretty close in performance to my stage 4GT as well. Why sell a near perfectly tuned car dude? Don't tell me its time for a sedan...(Auto?) Yikes!!

Steven,
Damn, the car looks great! You only live about 20mins from me now (instead of half way across the country) and I still havent checked it out.
If only I wasnt looking to buy a house, I would be knocking on your door right now!
Good Luck with the sale!

Hey Wil, what's up! Thanks for the bump, man. Hey, it's all good... RE goes up, and cars go down... so, you're making the right move, haha. Good luck with the house hunting, and hey, don't forget my HKS tour!
