Funny I saw one for sale in SoCal just like this a few days ago for 48k. Ad went down though so I guess it sold (had fewer miles than this even). Funny I'd love one of these but then would feel kind of bad thrashing it off road since they're rare and so nice. Will just have to start that quest for a nice normal one with PDCC and all the off road tech in the coming months.

 

JWSCHUR, I live in Dubai and own one of these bad boys that I bought from the dealership back in 2010. Its got the full off road package as well (strange that this was an option and not standard).

I was curious to ask you (and anyone else on this thread) if you think there is value in keeping such a car. I know Porsche made a limited number of these (less than a 1,000 globally I believe), however I don't know if it is a "Collector item". Its done about 70,000 miles but still drives great. I only just changed the brake disks and calipers recently this one time. I don't drive it much anymore. So wondering if I should keep it or sell it.

Any thoughts you have on its value would be great to hear. Likewise, if you have any questions to ask me, I'd be happy to answer them for you. I do a lot of dune bashing here in the Dubai deserts and the Transsyberia rides great in the sand (ofcourse I switch the 21 in wheels with 18 in ones for off roading).
