Lease Takeover: 2002 996 C4 Cab with options

All,

I have about 13 months left on a lease on my Seal Grey/Black C4 Cab. The car has about 28,000 miles, and I have a 49000 mile allowance. The car is still under warranty.

The car is in mint condition all around. No problems at all. I'm ready for a turbo or a gallardo and don't want to carry two payments.

Options that I would not part out, that will come with the car:
Aero side skirts
Aero spoiler
Clear side markers
SG center console
SG seat hooks
Short shifter
Custom fabricated exhaust by Speed Gallery

Car will come with stock rims (rims are perfect, tires have 40-60% tread) and suspension

Some pics (without the turbo front bumper):

The car has other options that I will part out and sell after the paperwork is signed: SG turbo front bumper, 19" iForged Swifts (anthacite finish); CF steering wheel; JIC Cross suspension; GHL exhaust tips; and more. I'll give the lessee the first option to buy these.

Terms:

Down: I want $3000 (negotiable) to cover a small portion of the down payment I made to get the monthlies low, and for the options that I won't remove.

Monthly: about $880 (includes tax)
Lease expires Dec. 31, 2006
Monthly allowance: roughly 2000 miles a month!

Please don't bother to email unless you have top tier credit (US Bank won't accept the lease transfer).

Emails: chiliran _ at _ yahoo _ dot _ com

Thanks.

Guys - I'm surprised. No offers? I'm negotiable on the down payment.

This is a great opportunity to test out a convertible or get a short term p-car lease.

Ken - Returned your PM

For those of you who inquired: The residual is $48.7K (12/06)

US Bank won't allow any lease transfers after December, so if I don't do the deal by year's end, I'll keep the car.

Thanks for your interest.

I'll post more pictures after the weekend.

All - cash upfront reduced from $3000 to $2250.

Everything else remains the same ($880/mo).

I'll sell all of the aftermarket equipment (GHL exhaust tips, JIC Cross Suspension, CF steering wheel, cargraphic pedals, and 19" iForged Swifts (painted Anthracite) with Contis) for $5600 obo.

Anybody who takes over the lease at the above terms will get all of the aftermarket equipment at a further discount.

I'm open to any suggestions if anybody thinks this price is high/low, etc.

As mentioned in the last post, if it's going to happen, it needs to happen quickly, so let me know if you're seriously interested.

Thanks.

you need to just have someone assume the lease and throw in the mods (none of this money down stuff) ...... that is most likely the only way out these days.... just a suggestion

Darren and Marc,

Well, I did ask for suggestions, so thanks. I think the monthly payment on a $98K+ sticker, pristine car that somebody could drive, hassle-free, for 13 months is very low. I just did the 30K service, tuned the suspension, and did my front brakes and rotors. Car will be low/no cost for the lease balance.

As for throwing in EVERYTHING with the car, that wouldn't make much sense if I can sell them separately (which I can).

To help justify the "down" payment, I thought that throwing in the exhaust, painted console, and SSK, and servicing the car, would warrant a few thousand. If I can't get that, then I think I'll stick with my monthlies and wait another year to buy a turbo.

Thanks for the feedback, though.

Bobby,
I was in a similar situation with my M5. It had lots of great mods but I couldn't find a buyer willing to compensate me for them.
In the end I removed the mods and sold them sperately.
The funny thing is that the guy that bought the car would have gladly paid me for the mods but they were already gone.
I think your car looks great and is a great deal for anyone in the market right now.
Best of luck.
Stan

I would be interested in the CF wheel, let me know if you want to part with it, if you sublease the car
Thanks

Cash upfront reduced to $1800. That includes: exhaust, painted center console, aluminum trim rings, SSK, and monthlies are $880 (which includes tax). As noted above, car just got the 30K service and I put new front brake pads and rotors. Current mileage is 28,100.

Buyer pays any transfer fees.

If it's going to happen, it needs to happen in the next week or US Bank won't finish the deal before the 1 year deadline.

For all of you who've contacted me about the rest of the equipment, if the deal doesn't happen, I'll let you know if I'll still part out the car. Thanks for all of the interest.
