I want to purchase a 1997 or 1998. I only want one that is in mint A1 condition. Budget is of no concern for this. Does anyone know of any?

Man I miss my 16V Scirocco. Bought it brand new, silver (pewter more or less) with black leather. That car was a blast. Shoulde never sold it. VWs suck these days. They need to bring em back like that.

There's about a dozen or so for sale peppered across the USA in varying degrees of condition with a white one on eBay not looking too bad...gonna be tough to find a "perfect" one but possibly a barn find out there somewhere.

The white one on ebay is a mess! There was a super clean silver one on Ebay a few weeks ago. All original and it was mint but had higher miles. Dont know if it sold or not.

 

That was my first new car - '86 Scirocco 16V. I beat the hell out of that car! So much fun. That was when you could get a good quality, fun car for under $15k.
