What's the invoice price?
Btw, I'd say it's sold. Very likely trading with another Rennlist member for his 991 C2S and it sounds like each car is perfect for both sides. Just spoke to them this afternoon.
Re invoice, you mean MSRP. It's in the pictures.
Apparently you have a tough time reading. It's my dream car and I made an exception to buy it even though I knew it wasn't ideal. That hasn't changed. The guy that sold in Canada was likely an FX Arb and is buying another one. The car is crazy good.

its because of the flip. You are asking 14k over MSRP. I think people are skeptical of someone that bought a stripper car for 86k then decided the kids were in the way...... I would recommend you say you fell while skiing and tore up your shoulder and need a PDK... thats a bit more believable.

I don't have a major issue keeping the car. I ordered it because I believed it's the car I've always wanted. I have a S4 for my daily. I've had offers from 84k (yep really) all the way to 3 people coming close to really buying it. I'm happy to talk with anyone serious and of course flexible.
I've also talked to a few people about trading cars and am open to that. Leaning towards M3s or M4s as a bit more family friendly and maybe one car. Imagine that?
im not arguing with you just saying you had the kids prior... Its not like the stork just showed up with a basket of two. I think thats the issue. The way people are talking about these cars and how well priced they are you would think this would be gone the day it was posted. Its just like the GT3's couple people got a decent price then everyone realized the RS was coming and people were selling an advertised 175k car for under 140k. Hell there are 991 turbos for under 130. Why would I buy a stripper GT4?
Good luck with your sale and I hope you get your 14k.

My buddy just bought a GT4 a few weeks ago for ~sticker. Not saying it's impossible to sell over sticker or anything at this point to the right buyer, but clearly it's not happening as fast any more. Probably missed the boat on that, but there's nothing wrong with trying. His car, he can do as he pleases
The one big plus to getting an allocation on these cars is knowing you can get rid of them without losing money if you're unhappy with your decision. Pretty safe bet, if you ask me.

Where are these 991 Turbos for under $130k that don't have salvage titles? Even the un-certified ones I'm seeing in the high 140's without reserve being met. My buddy just bought a GT4 a few weeks ago for sticker (and probably could have gotten it for less if he wasn't so impatient). God those things tank. What about the GT3's? I must be terrible at eBay... I think values have come up though again now that the RS is basically unobtainable.
edit: Ahh, I've been mainly looking at the TTS, not TT.

the one for 129,900 sold. The Gt3s were getting close to 130, but then the gt4 came out and when you are selling gt4s for 120 people think they can get more for a gt3. Thats all gonna change in 9-12 months. The new GTS is going to be gt3 991.1 like performance with a ducktail option and about 115k starting. So those Gt4's and 991 GT3s are going to rock into a soft market. Oh did I mention there will be a 7sp option for the GTS?
So i say sell while you can.
Turbo/GTS VS GT3/GT4 aren't quite apples to oranges but close. A GT3 manual in the future would affect GT4 values and that will probably happen next run (just my guess). Wait a couple years and we'll see, in the mean time I'll keep the GT4 I suppose.
Btw, the GT4 was WAY underpriced. Yes, it's not a 911 and people have that marketing drilled into their head forever. It's better in my opinion and it didn't win Evo's car of the year for nothing. Sure it has some quirks and if you're a power addict, it's not the car for you. We'll also see if they stick to an NA engine in the next GT4. AP said they'd keep NA in GT cars but I also think they either need to keep protecting the 911 or go full on with the Cayman next run, a couple changes and it's a GT3.
Btw, there are quite a few 991 GT3 owners that prefer that GT4 if they could only have 1 car. They are different and both awesome though. Probably just comes down to the manual.

The S is a slight upgrade but not a must have. The Turbo is going to smash anything but a turbo S so use the $$ for an exhaust from sharkies...

It was underpriced because of the production volume and initial hype of a brand new GT car from Porsche. That's faded and the market is already correcting.

Will it "correct", maybe, maybe not. I'll probably do a final price and let it ride for the winter.
