Black GT4
Year: 2016
Make: Porsche
Model: Cayman
Price: $0
Mileage: 1900
Color: Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): PA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
44k macans were built last year (Porsche wants to do 50k per year). Not sure on turbos vs S but probably not like 3000 GT4s yet alone vs total over complete run of maybe 200,000 Macans.

Black one at Princeton sold last week (listed at 128k, 20 over with 2k miles on it), one on Rennlist sold for 15k over yesterday. There is a LWB one on Rennlist for 10k over at 120k that will sell pretty soon (priced well)it seems. How do you feel about this one listed at $119k
Will it "correct", maybe, maybe not. I'll probably do a final price and let it ride for the winter.

Sport Chrono only adds the track app for the GT4 which has sketchy reviews at best.
Last, I had 2 dealers call me today that are thinking on the car. Maybe the last allocations are really out. Prices certainly haven't come down yet from car.com dealer ads. Again, who knows, I can't see the future.
I received an email from a dealership today that had previously told me that the markup they wanted over MSRP for an incoming car or allocation was $20k, and now it's $10k. It seems like the demand for paying over MSRP might be softening, but agree with the seller that there's still more demand than supply. Eventually that will sort out, but for now and until then, if you want one, you have to pay to play.
Best of luck with the sale. It's a beautiful machine!
EDIT: BTW...that GT4 is for sale on eBay starting at $90k. It's very possible it could get bid up from that amount before it sells.

Last post here. Drove the car out to test drive a M3/M4, decided that's not the next car for me. Nothing against it, just completely different and felt numb to me.
If nothing else maybe I'll get a couple rep points for this video. (who am I kidding!)
Fast Forward to 23.30 for the GT4

Holy **** people - let the guy sell his car. This is a for sale thread, not a debate on the value of GT4's, GT3's, Macan's, Turbo S's, Turbo's, exhaust systems for Turbo's to make them run like Turbo's...

At this point I'll likely keep the car. I should keep test driving cars to remind me how much I like my own, mabye I'll change my mind. TO ME this is what the car is worth and again, maybe the market will change, more on the market for sure. Either way it doesn't bother me that much, just work harder so I can upgrade my daily instead.
Btw, last point. I don't doubt there are cars out there for MSRP to be found but you'll either wait or spend HOURS of your own time looking for them. For most people buying 100k cars those hours should cost a lot.

Thank you! I haven't been on 6speed in quite a while and was somewhat reminded why. I used to be a huge fan (even though more of a lurker). There isn't a rule on commenting on price on rennlist either but it's WAY more tame.

Regarding this forum, I haven't been here in years so I really can't compare except this thread.
I'll update this thread too like I did on the "other" forum. I'll trade at MSRP if I can transfer taxes with someone through my dealer BUT 911s keep coming down because they are coming off lease so I'm not in a hurry unless someone is realistic. More likely I'll sell for 94,670 which is what I have in the car (and roll the dice on the taxes and finding a car) OR I'll keep it. Who knew I'd be driving the car the 2nd week in December with this weather.
Fair point but hasn't been too bad. I'd be reading some other article between work anyways.
Seems a waiting game but given the weather it's been nice since I'm driving the car still. Driving a friends 997 turbo this weekend maybe, it will be interesting to compare it to the GT4.

I may have found a set of LWBs from a friend for the car. Small premium for these, $7k to add. This is huge for anyone who knows how tough to get these. I will not sell these separate, don't ask.
