Miata's are great! We are in chicago and picked up a 95 from grand rapids michigan for $4k with a hardtop so it's a daily driver in winter (with snow tires of cours) It's a fun little car! Don't forget to look around on ebay as well. g-luck!

Allot of my buddies in the midwest sold their E30 M3 track cars and they all seem to have bought Miatas. Turned them into spec Miatas and love em.

Superchargers are around 2500 and can be put on yourself. You'd probably have to buy a stronger clutch, too. Check out Moss Motors, and Go Miata for parts.

Enough Miata BS. I'm 6'2" and drove my Wife's hand me down miata for 2 years. The things are bulletproof and can take a beating. sold it with 180K miles on nothing but spark plugs, fluids and two sets of spark wires. Now that is bulletproof.
