This is a long shot but I am looking for an F80 or F82 with higher mileage, and therefore lower price. I wanted to see if there were any sub $50k vehicles out there! I know this might not be the right time to find one in that range but I wanted to give it a shot.

I won't make any requirements for specs. Manual or DCT, no preference. Price is only concern at the moment.

I'll give u all my mods jb4, stack stage 3 dme tune, acm exhaust , gintani catless downpipes, bms intakes brand new r888s 275/305, car has 3700 miles payment 980 month, started July 15th 2015 I have 10k msd(money I get back at end of lease) but will asked for 6k which means at end of lease u get 10k (4k profit)

 

50K isn't going to happen yet. Most F80/F82 are still upper 50's at the low end. Maybe another year and it will get to 50.

 

Probably going to be waiting a while (close to two years) unless you're willing to buy something with a salvage title that needs repairs.

 

Yep, the low end in high 50's and upper around 70.

OP, might want to look at e90's, 2013 running mid 30's to mid 40's for pristine.

They sound better (IMHO), last of the V8s almost as fast to 60, trap about 3 mph 3 tenths slower in qtr mile, look somewhat similar.

You can find a m3/m4 for 50 somewhere...

and do not get an M5 unless the depreciation has already hit it lol.

 

I've been looking and lower and mid 50k can be had now and I've seen a several at bimmerpost. I just haven't pulled the trigger on one

 

Maybe high miles or undesirable options/colors.

 

Hmmm not sure what are undesirable options but miles lower than 25k for sure

 

There's a couple for sale in mid 50's right now they all have around 25-30k miles. Options seem decent actually though. One actually got traded into a dealer for 55k though so market would have been a bit higher. The other is being sold by a vendor employee so my guess is he wasn't in it too bad. Give it twelve months and you'll probably see ones here and there drop into high 40's.

 

Yeah I'm watching out, definitely a lot out there in the mid/high 50's. Most likely won't see one drop below 50 for quite some time. Worth a shot though.

 

get a new M2 for $54k, better car. I've driven both.
