If you are looking for a regular Gallardo this car is NOT for you. This is not a daily driver type car.

This is 1 of 174 SUPERLEGGERAs. The SUPERLEGGERA is harder, faster, louder, lower, and much more visceral than a regular Gallardo. Make sure that is what you want. It also has most of the updates the LP cars - starting in 2009 - had.When driving a Superleggera back to back with a regular Gallardo you will not believe both cars are even made by the same manufacturer. The experience could not be more different.

If you think a GT3 is too much for you this car is not for you. Shifting, acceleration, handling are THE most memorable experience out of all GT3s, GT2s, Scuderias I have owned. This is NOT an ownership experience you will ever forget.

Sticker of this car in 2008 was $266,955. The carbon ceramic brakes were a $15,600 option. Yes, I have the window sticker, books, and both keys. Other options are Carbon Package, NAV, Camera, Carbon Fiber Rear Wing, Alcantara Roof Lining, etc. Carbon Fiber rear diffuser and engine lid are standard on the Superleggera.

The interior is 100% Alcantara and carbon fiber (door cards, center console, cluster, etc.). Lots of carbon fiber inside and outside.

Higher mileage Superleggeras usually start at $150,000. This is a low mileage car with only 7,600 miles but it has two minor imperfections on two very expensive exterior carbon fiber pieces. You will NOT notice them unless I point them out. Other than that this Superleggera is in extremely good and clean condition. Full clear bra on front hood, fenders, bumper, carbon fiber rocker panels, and carbon fiber mirrors. NOT one single rock chip. Very low mileage, 7,600 miles. Rims have ZERO scratches. Tires are still original. There is currently the legendary Lamborghini of Orange County (LOC) exhaust mounted. It will be removed before the sale and replaced with the original Superleggera exhaust.

With Lamborghini's sky high prices for replacement carbon parts any accident turns into a total loss for the insurance company. The engine lid is $30k, the lexan window $4k, the wing $16k, the diffuser $20k. That is $70k in total for carbon fiber pieces which you can probably get for $10k if you buy aftermarket parts. And in most cases the parts just had a scratch and don't even need to be replaced. In that case it is even cheaper to get them clear coated with another coat.

 

Great deal - GLWS. I'm surprised at this price dealers aren't jumping to grab this of your hands!

There always turns out to be a more to the story when something is listed at a deal-breaking price.

Just don't understand the point of 'hiding' the bad as it always floats up to the surface quickly and exposes the seller in a bad light.

 

Three pictures:

The lexan piece in the carbon engine lid is damaged. I ordered a piece of lexan but it is not the correct size.

The wing has scratches on the edge.

The exhaust tip rubbed into the carbon of the diffuser.

 

Rebuilt title!!!! LOL......now why would you waste time and not list that! Come onnn mannn!

Minor imperfections...ok not to disclose right away...

But Salvage/rebuilt title? ...COME ON MAN

 

The carbon imperfections cannot be sanded and re cleared as it has cut into the fiberglass - they must be removed and re-wrapped with a matching Lambo carbon weave, urethaned 'til smooth, and cleared with quality UV resistant clear. Not a cheap process at all and not something any local body shop can do

 

Please list the reason the title is rebuilt and any documentation: flood, accident??

 

Sounds like it was rear ended

 

it was mentioned on the other forum that a member had seen in person and it has a lot of body damage... Possible theft damage or vandalism?
