Selling my one-off and very custom Widebody TT R8. This car has never been offered for sale to the public since build completion. I came across this very article above while looking to possibly buy what is now my third R8 in the past 5-6 years. Once I read this article, I just knew I had to have this one of a kind R8 (and it wasn't even for sale). So I reached out to the owner of TopSpeed Motorsports and convinced him to sell me the car (although it took about 5 weeks to make it happen). If anyone knows anything about TopSpeed, they build some of the baddest GTR's on the planet. This R8 being the owners actual build, no corner was cut in the quality and attention to detail to make this appear as a street legal R8 Lemans car (only much more power). Anyone that has seen this car knows they nailed it with this build.
The car is currently being offered on ebay ATM. I've owned this car for almost one seamless year of operation (other than brand new upgraded clutch less than 2k miles ago) along with perfect drivability. It runs flawlessly and draws attention like no other car I've owned. I rarely keep any car over a year, so it's just time for someone else to enjoy such an amazing car. I am open to partial trades (of lesser value) plus cash. There is approximately $170k in this build alone. It's not for the faint of heart. It's for someone that likes to know they will never see another car like it anywhere on the road.
Since purchase I've done / added the following:
~Car has a brand new complete upgraded clutch assembly installed by local Audi dealer.
~R8 GT tail lights.
~Paint correction and Ceramic pro applied to every inch of the car.
~Paint protection film (PPF) applied to entire front bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights, areas behind both front and rear of wheels where typical road rash could occur.
~Wing is removable in about 15 minutes if you don't want that complete LMS look taking over the road.
~Yellow film on headlights is also removable with ease.
Pictures really do not do this car justice. Please refrain from posting negative comments. The car may not be for everyone, but the time, money, and attention to detail clearly speaks for itself.
Just turned 23k miles.
*Asking price is $179k. Serious and reasonable offers will be considered. Also willing to accept trades plus cash difference

FYI your link to the Super Street article is broken.
Looks like a build of love. Ha ha not 100% sure how I feel about it. I like the concept and it looks like an all encompassing build. Is it the v8 or v10?

I personally prefer it without the wing a bit more because you can appreciate the lines and get a good visual of how wide she is from behind. However, that wing has proven to be very effective when original builder/owner took it on multiple tracks around the country.
