I really thought that price was cheap as I just bought one with more miles, for a bit more money. I really think those details should be posted by the seller, but I know many wouldn't agree.

Wow, that would be a yuuuuuuge turnoff for me in terms of ever dealing with that seller. Title status should be a mandatory disclosure item, just as having an asking price is. Imo of course. While I normally don't comment on pricing as it is 'price policing', in this case I have to say that for a salvage title car the price seems ridiculous.

 

Perhaps we could modify the selling criteria template to include title status? This one took me by surprise as well, I thought that the title was clean, and the price was very fair. I would've thought, that as a shop that wishes to maintain a good reputation, that this would've been an upfront disclosure.

 

Prob should have been disclosed but VIN was provided and I am sure he would have mentioned it if interested party called and followed up. Easy to look up on Carfax anyway.

 

That really is pretty ridiculous to not put the salvage title in the ad. I have recommended this shop before because of some specials they have had on Lambo service, but not stating the salvage is pretty shady.

 

I believe it is illegal for a dealer to sell a car with a salvage title without disclosing it.
its a shame some dealers have no morals
